Happy Democracy day, Nigeria.

Today, we mark 27 years of unbroken democratic governance in Nigeria in Nigeria’s 4th Republic. A milestone that speaks to the resilience of our people and our enduring belief in government of the people, by the people and for the people.

Our democratic journey has not been without its challenges, but each passing year has strengthened our institutions and deepened the voice of the ordinary Nigerian.

Under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, we are building a nation where hope is constantly renewed, and, very importantly, matched by action.

I salute every Nigerian who continues to make this democracy work. The journey continues, and our best days lie ahead.
